This workshop is tailored to the built environment industry and professionals wanting to engage with First Nations people and designing with Country. The workshop structure allows participants to gain meaningful foundational knowledge across several sectors of Cultural Competency, Cross Cultural Engagement, First Nations Design Principles and Designing with Country.

The workshop is structured to develop a deep understanding of the interconnected systems of First Nations culture and connection to Country. This workshop will help participants develop a greater understanding of the key processes and methodologies used to develop authentic design outcomes.

Weaving Workshop

Burrundi Design Studio offers either a half or full day workshop with renowed artist Kim Ah-Sam, a Kalkadoon-KuKu Yalanji women born and raised on Turrbal and Jagera Country. Providing a great opportunity for schools and business’ to engage and learn First Nations knowledges and cultural practices through weaving. Workshops can be tailored for specific outcomes.
